Who has the most power: the President or the people who put him / keep him in office? There is power in being the leader of the free world, but he relies on people to give him information that keep him in office.  Think tanks, research centers and the cabinet all help make him “a king.”

But who really has the power? The person who makes decisions or the person who gives the information to make decisions.
As I think about my own career as an entrepreneur, I think about what I enjoy doing. I deliver speeches. I make presentations. I facilitate workshops. I am constantly in front of people talking. I like being the King. I don’t enjoy the leg work that is necessary to make me a king. Mileage and expense reports. Creating the presentations. Marketing to find new clients. Is it necessary: Yes. But I don’t always enjoy doing it.
But these “little things” are the things that will either make me a King or a Pauper. And I want to be a King.
